Escaped Peacock Picks Perilous Perch |
|
 | Banh Thi Uyen Uyen | Friday, Aug 12, 2011 | (Reuters) – Why did the peacock cross the road? It isn't quite clear why this particular bird wandered away from its Central Park Zoo home and settled just across the street on the ledge of a posh 5th Avenue building. And even though zoo staff didn't have to travel far to retrieve the errant peacock, the bird took the initiative and came home to roost at sunrise the next day. |
