"I know that Michael wouldn't want this art in a better place, than a hospital like this that will help children, and people everywhere. I'm so proud that these pieces are here to help those who need it."

(VOA) – Scientists in the American state of Alaska have discovered the ancient remains of a rare sea creature that lived more than 200 million years ago. The almost complete fossilized skeleton belonged to a creature known as thalattosaur. Only twelve other full thalattosaurs are known to exist in the world. The scientists say that when this animal died, its body settled into the ocean floor. It was preserved for nearly 220 million years.

(Reuters) – Why did the peacock cross the road? It isn't quite clear why this particular bird wandered away from its Central Park Zoo home and settled just across the street on the ledge of a posh 5th Avenue building. And even though zoo staff didn't have to travel far to retrieve the errant peacock, the bird took the initiative and came home to roost at sunrise the next day.
