(Reuters) – Lingerie-clad Colombian models made a sizzling start to Medellin's fashion week Colombiamoda 2011 on Tuesday. A century ago, Medellin became a textile and fabric powerhouse but these days it is one of Latin America's fashion centers. Lingerie line Amulette featured lacy sets along with hints of a more subdued modern touch. An added feature of the line: Each of the Lingerie sets come infused in their own trademark scent. Studio F's collection was up next with some comfy streetwear from the popular fashion and accessories brand. The opening beige peasant dress number hanging off the shoulder was followed up with a brown fedora and skinny jeans. Wide belts and large strokes of turquoise dominated the collection - just a glimpse of what is to come before Colombiamoda 2011 comes to an end on July 28.
